Founded in 2020 by designer and multidisciplinary artist Charlie Sanchez, Beast Arts is a horizontally structured collective that produces first class productions characterized by a strong interactive component . Our works allow brands and artists amaze their audiences with innovative and revolutionary projects, as well as expand their reach to new audiences.
Arising from a strong love for music, photography, cinema and videogames, our production company counts today with great professionals ranging from art directors and programmers to 3D clothing designers, which allows us to provide complete services and a wide variety of products, always with our own flavor.

TENTACIÓN — the birth of the ludoclip
As an indispensable part of the academic paper "Devising the ludoclip: a videoludic approach to cinematography and videoclip rhythm", which focuses on the exploration of the commercial, artistic and ludic possibilities of the interactive music video, as well as on the limits of the application of video game development methodologies to the cinematographic field and vice versa, the first ludoclip in history is born, based on the homonymous work by Agorazein.
TENTACIÓN is thus conceived as the flagship of a new type of audiovisual work, halfway between the video game and the music video, which seeks to enhance the scope of the song on which it is based by being accessible and appealing both to the gaming community and urban music fans.

OASIS, our first short film
"From an inexperienced perspective, Oasis explores through the theatricalized perspectives that bring introspective conversations with our close ones, the polysemy of love, but above all, that of lovelessness. Bitter disappointments, which tear and transcend, give way to necessary reflections on our place and our particular predisposition before the winds that try to displace us from it".
With a minimal budget, Oasis managed to make its way into the 'Best Short Film' category of the Oculus Audiovisual Festival (2019) thanks to the debut performances of María Pineda and Marta Jiménez, as well as an introspective script and intimate but extremely coherent photography. Its quotidian themes and its deliberately accentuated use of color democratize the audiovisual language, and make it an ideal gateway to the cinematic scene.

A MEDIAS VERDADES, a gamification project for Abhir Hathi & Recycled J
Commisioned advergaming work for urban artists Recycled J (+270K followers) and Abhir (+50K followers) with +50K plays.
Aiming for accessibility and virality, the work, which was carried out in a very close collaboration with Abhir's art team, took the form of an interactive Instagram filter based on Spark AR in which the player had to detect the malicious words hidden among different WhatsApp messages, which coincided with the lyrics of the song of the same name. The player could validate or reject each message by affirming or shaking his head.
In addition, the filter included different static messages and color settings to allow fans to take selfies and share them on social networks.

299, a flavorful travel short film
A non-commissioned, zero-budget work, which tells the richly anecdotal journey of a group of university students who get to know Bologna and Venice for the first time in the middle of the COVID era.
Despite not having the necessary recording equipment (DSLR camera capable of recording at 4K, gymball, etc.), the video acts as an editing portfolio, showing VFX, transitions and color grading capable of hooking the viewer and putting him/her inside the fictional reality of 299.
